The second line should not be written to the screen and log ﬁle, and is misleading.

In the reprint ﬁle, there is only one termination line and it should read:

MADYMO TERMINATED NORMALLY.

Workaround: set the two end times identical to each other.

• When the initial time step of LS-DYNA is larger than that of MADYMO, the simulation

can get out of sync.

Workaround: specify a smaller initial timestep than the MADYMO timestep, by chang-

ing the value of DTINT under *CONTROL_TIMESTEP in the LS-DYNA input ﬁle.
